Publisher London 1932
Seller ID 005625
Oblong, 15 by 21 cm. pp., plus stiff wraps, which have illustration of fourth page continuing onto the inside rear cover. This appears to have been issued on the 50th anniversary of the company in 1932 (a publication date is not actually given but is strongly implied by this.) After the title page, showing a typical livery outfit from 1872 and 1932, the following pages show various then current livery designs with the illustrated men sometimes shown engaged in activity-- walking dogs, driving, pointing at a plane, carrying golf clubs, etc. The drawings, rendered in black and white, form a handsome frieze, with their horizontal linear arrangement. A clean copy of a rare surviving piece of fashion ephemera.
