White Fox Rare Books and Antiques sells both rare antiquarian books and a select inventory of decorative antiques.  In addition to a large general antiquarian stock of books, it specializes in hand-colored or chromolithographic illustrated plate books, the decorative arts and foreign language literature -- German, French, Italian and Spanish in particular -- in the original language.  Its illustrated plate books encompass many fields, including costume, decorative arts, sports, natural history -- both botanical and zoological -- caricature and literature.  

     Decorative antiques include a large stock of bookends and other objects meant for a library as well as a healthy stock of "Black Forest" woodcarvings, about which store owner Peter Blackman has written a book.
