This is an original photograph from the 1876 Philadelphia Exposition showing the Connecticut display, which mixed American country furniture, Colonial effects and various hunt paraphernalia, together with Yankee patriotic gewgaws and iconology. The photo looks somewhat overexposed, as was the inevitable consequence of photo techniques then. At base of photo are names of Connecticut officials and legend of the fair.
