Slightly more unusual is that the letter is represented in four or five typefaces, from a highly ornamental fraktur Gothic to a more modern but still ornamental design. Other than the freshness of the paper pastedown on the boards and the outer box which clearly was not the sort issued with a book in the early 19th century, this copy could pass for an exceptionally well-preserved copy of the original. 13.5 by 9 cm. 24 panels, mostly humorous and lightly satirical, but also a few with a more sentimental quality.
